Can dowsing be used to predict future winners of a horse race?

I would like to ask you two questions.
1) Have you heard of people successfully dowsing a horse race for possible winners of a race? and
2) Could you suggest a modality how to do this, maybe similar to the modality for dowsing lotto numbers?

Hi Hendrik!
Good questions!
The short answer is 'Yes, I have heard of this' and there is a way of doing it.
However, the longer answer is as follows:
From my own research as well as from stories from others, it appears that the most successful dowsing of races of any kind is achieved when there is no money involved. This appears to be a general rule. But, as with all rules, there are exceptions!
So, for practice purposes, you can begin dowsing and then checking your results to see how accurate you are.
When you feel you are getting it down properly, that's the time to start putting your money where your pendulum is! :-)
As to how to ask the question, as always you need to be as precise as you can be.
Therefore, I would suggest something along the following lines, assuming you have the list of runners in front of you:

'Please indicate (with a 'yes' response) when I am pointing at the horse which meets all the following requirements;
It will be running in (the particular race) at (the particular racetrack) at (the particular time)and it will be declared the winner of the race and all bets will be settled accordingly.'

Such a question makes sure that the horse won't be withdrawn at the last moment, that it races and will be declared the winner after any disputes.
That should pretty much cover the main details. You can, of course, add further details to this as you see fit, including odds or weights or distances and so on.
