What If I can make simply my own dowsing rods, is this effective to use for dowsing?

Absolutely! After all, the ones you buy were made by someone else, so why not make your own?
That way you can choose the type of material as well as the length and weight which suits you best.
I'm assuming you've already got an idea how to go about it?
My preference is for a heavy rod without separate handles, so mine are of steel rod. Maggie's are lightweight copper with handles which makes them react far too easily for my taste, but she really likes them.
But do go ahead and make them. They will work just as well as anything you can buy.
If you're pleased with them, why not come back and show us a photo of the finished article??
