Do I need to stop the pendulum after each answer?

by Cathy Barrow
(San Bernardino, CA. USA)

Do I need to stop the pendulum after each answer before I ask the next question?
I have programed it to go to a waiting for question position, as in "Letter to Robin". Is it OK to let it return to that position, because it always does?
Ii am just learning and I have been surfing the web on dowsing and charts. Some ways differ and it's confusing. I first found the "Letter to Robin" and followed that advice. So far I have been doing OK. Thanks for your help.

Pendulums and You NEW
by: Nigel

Short answer is 'No'. You can just keep going with the pendulum and let it go to the appropriate answer. But, that is probably something you will get to as you gain confidence in your dowsing.
From a purely personal point of view, I don't agree with everything in Letter to Robin as I think some of it is just way too picky and tries to pack too much in to too small a space.
For you, however, just get used to working with your pendulum and getting confidence in yourself. As you practice more and get quicker, you'll find you'll want to drop some things you do and replace them with others. That's absolutely fine. Your dowsing will (and should) evolve.
So, start with what you're comfortable doing right now and then change.
There is no one 'right' way of doing this stuff. A lot of different people say a lot of different things because it works for them. You just have to pick and choose what feels right for you. In the end, you'll have your own approach to dowsing which works for you.
So...hang on in there and learn as much as you can, but don't take everything you read as being the absolute truth about how dowsing works.
Looking forward to hearing of your progress! :-)
