In dowsing, what does it mean that someone "changed houses?" I don't mean that someone physically moved.

The only thing which comes to mind is astrology. That has various houses, but I can't see how that would apply here.
Perhaps it would be easier to help if I knew the context of the answer; i.e., what sort of questions were you asking and was it about someone living or dead?
