Dowsing and fault lines

by Merlin Humpherys
(Smithfield, Utah USA)

Last year I was called to dowse in another county. Upon arriving there I asked where they would like to drill for water. Having my dowsing rods in hand, I headed for the location they wanted to drill.
After walking towards the wanted location I located water. Also located next to the aquifer was a fault line. I asked if they knew there was a fault line there. They said there map showed one there but they didn't know the depth. I gave them the depth. Location was verified by the graphic map.
Before you build check for the fault line, in case of an earthquake.

My Response:

True, but there are all sorts of fault lines, from minor ones to very large ones. Faulting does not always mean earthquake damage. If you drive along many highways, you'll see minor faulting in the cuts by the roadside. These are not dangerous. Nevertheless, the point is well taken.
