Dowsing for Missing Animals

by Animal Intuit
(Boise, Idaho)

I am an animal communicator that often works with missing pets. I've had reasonably good success in bringing animals home, but would like to improve the success rate. I've had some experience with dowsing for lost animals, but do not have the experience/accuracy to confidently incorporate this skill yet into my searches. Practicing with a lost animal is not practical. Will going through your course help in improving my skills which will then translate to map dowsing for lost animals? Essentially I'm looking for the best application of time and practice to improve this aspect of dowsing.

Any insights you might be able to share on how to best learn to use this ability in lost animal searches would be greatly appreciated.

Missing animals

Sadly, I am not aware of the sort of database you asked about...but if anyone reading this does, please let us know!

But, having said that, I guess I would 'Google' things like 'missing persons', 'missing people', and the like. I would also Google websites which list missing children or where notices of such people are listed, perhaps by family members or police departments.

As for the second question, the problem of death and confusing the spirit with the body can be a tricky one. No matter how you ask it, it seems there can always be some confusion or uncertainty.

Personally, I have a picture in mind of a body, just sort of a cartoon really, whenever I'm asking about location of a body (which, I admit, is rare). Other than that, I would be very aware that I was asking about the spirit of the person / animal etc..

If you are confident about what it is you are after, that is half the battle. Of course, you can always dowse to make sure that you really are aware of what it is you are going after. It might help, for example, to write down what it is you are seeking on a piece of paper. Something like' the physical location of the body, living or dead, of Fluffy'.

You can also be very precise in what you want to consider as being alive, again writing it down to make it 'stick' and then checking that that is really what you mean. Something like, having a pulse, breathing, body temperature higher than the immediate surroundings, having these conditions long enough to be found...' and so on.

By having precision in the question, the pendulum response is less of a problem, I find.

Hope that helps!

Additional questions
by: Animal Intuit

Thank you, Nigel for the in-depth response. I have two additional questions:

1) Is there a database that you can recommend listing missing persons with updates so that one can check their results if the individual(s) are found?

2) What response would the pendulum give if the animal/person has crossed over and you are looking for a location? Normally I am pretty accurate when connecting with an animal/spirit regarding whether it has crossed, and then I check again with the pendulum. Usually I get confirmation, but sometimes I do not which of course causes confusion. But let's say you do not check in advance, simply assuming Fluffy is alive or you get an incorrect answer -- would you get the location of the body if you just asked for say, "Fluffy's location" as opposed to "the location of Fluffy's body"? Or would the pendulum not give a yes answer anywhere on the map?

Thank you and I will be embarking on your course.

Dowsing for lost animals

Thanks for the question, which is one we personally have a great interest in.

As you are aware, this sort of dowsing can have its own set of problems and difficulties. Maggie has an article on this very subject. Unfortunately, we haven't yet tracked it down after her computer crashed.....!

However, you can certainly hone your skills in this area by, for example, offering your services at animal rescue shelters. I suggest you start for free to begin with.

Something else you can do is, strictly for yourself, dowse the location of people reported missing. I emphasize, this is strictly personal and only for practice.

The techniques we describe in our e-book course will certainly hone your skills. We emphasize practical applications in a huge range of areas, give you lots of ideas to work with as well as specifics about map-dowsing. So, yes, it would help you meet your stated aims.

As you are already tuning in to your intuition with lost animal work, your development of dowsing skills should mature much more quickly, especially as you have a specific goal in mind.

If/when we unearth the article about some of the pitfalls about dowsing for lost animals, I'll be sure to return here and let you know. So, do make sure you bookmark this page to ensure you get notified!

And, thanks for doing this work. It really does give comfort and hope to people.
