How can I get rid of an oppressive spirit?

I was talking with my spirit guide and he told me there was an oppressive spirit lingering. He told me to buy blue lace agate for protection, which I did.
However, this spirit still interrupts my session with my spirit guide, spelling out garbled words, or lies about my family to upset and sadden me.
I would like to know how to get rid of this and any future oppressive spirits.

If you have something troubling you in your sessions, then there is a reason for it showing up. There are many possible approaches, but amongst the simplest might be to do some dowsing about it.
For example, it might be that it's something you have to deal with in life, like being interrupted or being upset by people. Or, it might be that it is someone you know or are aware of and it/he/she needs you to take time to find out what it/he/she wants with you.
To get rid of it without finding out why it's there will not be a permanent solution as something else will eventually come along presenting the same problem in a different way.
You can certainly demand that it be gone (after all, it's your life and you have a right to live it the way you want), but I really feel that it's something you need to investigate more, rather than just dismiss.
Dowsing about it is a good place to start, however. The methods you decide on finally will really be because they make sense or work better for you. But, like I said, information is probably the first place to start....finding out why you have attracted it and what you need to resolve to not have it happen again.
