Using L-rods
by: Nigel

I've not heard them called 'L' spanish rods, although there are tools called Spanish Needles, but they take two to operate.

Nevertheless, you have a couple of possibilities open to you:

1) Check up on the nearest dowsing group to you. The Canadian Society of Dowsers or the Society of Questers both have groups, one of which might be near enough for you to visit.

2) If that's not possible and you can't meet a fellow dowser near you, then I suggest buying our ebook on Dowsing (follow the link on the left to 'Dowsing Course') and use that. It was written especially for people who need help but don't have people they can go to. Plus it has over 100 applications of dowsing as well as instructions on how to use the L-rods.

Do note, however, that you rarely need to use both rods together. One works perfectly well for the vast majority of cases. I have a couple of steel rods, very plain and very sturdy. One of them I use to stick in the ground to mark various things of relevance when I'm dowsing.
