My car keys and my new turquoise necklace

I stopped at the Chatham General store on Saturday on my way home to buy a lottery ticket. I was wearing my brand new turquoise necklace because turquoise is supposedly the good luck stone for my particular Zodiac sun sign of Sagittarius. Just for the hell of it, I used my car keys (which has a huge copper penny attached so I don't lose them)as a pendulum.
I silently asked (with my mind, not my mouth) if I would win any money if I bought a Classic Ohio lottery ticket in that night's drawing. The answer was yes. I asked if I would win any money if I bought a Powerball ticket. The answer was no. My gut feeling told me to buy one of each. When I checked the numbers on Sunday morning I was elated to find that I had won $ 9.00 in the Powerball drawing.
