My dowsing does not work when I ask a question about certain people

I been dowsing for about 10 years. I have never really run into any problems.
Lately, I have been asking questions about my son's girlfriend. They are going to be getting married soon and I just wanted to make sure they would be a good fit.
Every time I ask the pendulum questions the pendulum goes dead still and does not move no matter what questions I ask about her. If I change the subject the pendulum works as it always has.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Problems in dowsing NEW

Well, there are two possible lines of thought which come to mind here.
First, have you asked what the movement (or non-movement) of the pendulum is all about? It could be indicating something like 'wrong question', 'poorly worded question' or even 'there is no answer to this question which makes sense'.
So, first of all, I'd ask what the movement is about in case it happens again later on in relation to another type of question.
Secondly, I wonder why you are asking these questions. After all, it's up to them what to make of their lives, unless you are going to tell them what you've dowsed, because they asked you to.
Maybe the pendulum is simply saying something like, 'this is none of your business, so don't go there because I will refuse to answer you'.
So, the answer might be because your subconscious is not in agreement with your conscious mind about these questions.
Final thought, it might be to do with certain people or situations that you have problems because there are some (past life) issues at work. In which case, you need to check that out as well.
