What does it mean when the dowing rods always point behind me?

by Janet
(Olympia)

I have tried using dowsing rods but instead of crossing over in the front, the rods that I hold always want to move to the outside and point to my back.

What does that mean?

L-rod movement
by: Nigel

There are a couple of possible answers to this.

First, and most likely, is that you are holding the rods slightly above the horizontal. That makes it too easy for them to move, either in or out. If this is the case, try holding the rods so that they are slightly below the horizontal. There is not much difference in the angles, so you don't need to alter them by very much.

If that is not the case, then it might be that your 'yes' response is, in fact, a movement apart. Most dowsing books show or say that the response is to cross over each other. But that really isn't the case. I know of one very good dowser who uses L-rods and they always 'fall apart' for him.

So, it could be that you are getting the correct response, but haven't realized it.

I think those are the two possible answers to your question. If this isn't solved, please feel free to write back and we'll take it from there!
